Adam Brown

Adam Brown is the Head of UK Economic and Social Policy at Cambridge Econometrics, bringing over 15 years of experience in applying a systems analytics approach to complex social and economic challenges. He works closely with clients and collaborators across the UK, helping them understand how sectors, clusters, and local economies evolve over time and the role of public policy in shaping these outcomes. His expertise spans agglomeration, transport and housing, net-zero initiatives, labour markets, and innovation.

Adam leads a team of economists and modelling experts, overseeing complex and highly technical projects for a wide range of public sector clients. His work supports departments across UK Government, local authorities, sub-national transport bodies, and the European Union.

He holds a BSc in Economics and Management from the University of London and a PhD in complex systems modelling from the University of Nottingham, and is currently a Visiting Researcher in Economic Geography at Oxford Brookes Business School.
