Jon Stenning appointed Chief Executive Officer of Cambridge Econometrics; Phil Summerton becomes Executive Chair
Cambridge Econometrics has completed a planned leadership transition, with Jon Stenning appointed Chief Executive Officer and Phil Summerton taking on the role of Executive Chair.
Cambridge Econometrics is pleased to announce the completion of a planned leadership transition, with Jon Stenning appointed Chief Executive Officer and Phil Summerton becoming Executive Chair.
The transition follows a carefully managed process over the past year, during which Jon Stenning, previously Deputy CEO and Phil Summerton, previously CEO, have worked closely together to ensure continuity for clients, partners and the wider business.
As Chief Executive Officer, Jon Stenning will lead the business day to day and oversee the next phase of Cambridge Econometrics’ development. As Executive Chair, Phil Summerton will continue to support the business strategically while also spending more time on consultancy work, bringing his expertise directly to clients and projects.
It has been a privilege to serve as Chief Executive Officer of Cambridge Econometrics, I am delighted to take on the role of Executive Chair and to continue contributing to the business in a different capacity, including through more consultancy work with clients and colleagues. I am very pleased to be handing day-to-day leadership to Jon who is exceptionally well placed to lead the business forward.
