Cambridge Econometrics Celebrates Five Years of Supporting Clients and Partners in the U.S.
This month marks five years since Cambridge Econometrics established its presence in the U.S. As we celebrate this milestone, we're grateful to the clients and partners who have trusted us to bring economic insight to their most important decisions. We're proud of what we've accomplished together over the past five years and look forward to continuing to turn rigorous analysis into meaningful impact.
Communities across the country are deciding where and how to invest in transportation, infrastructure, key industries, and regional assets. We help them understand what those investments mean for jobs, business activity, and long-term growth. Over five years, that work has taken us from Appalachian highways to Holyoke's St. Patrick's Parade.
Here are a few recent examples:
- Appalachian Development Highway System: Our study for the Appalachian Regional Commission found that highways deliver the most when they connect to regional assets such as industry clusters, workforce resources, and development sites.
- Holyoke's St. Patrick's celebrations: The Parade, Road Race, and related events generate a $39.3 million total economic contribution and support 275 jobs.
- North Carolina trails: We are leading the economic impact analysis for NCDOT's Statewide Active Transportation Plan, supporting Kittelson & Associates.
- Massachusetts food economy: Two projects are identifying where investment can strengthen local food businesses and supply chains.
"What makes our work rewarding is the opportunity to bring rigorous economic analysis to complex, real-world challenges. We've built strong relationships with clients and partners who value not just the research itself, but the perspective it brings to their planning and decisions. That's what we want to continue building on in the years ahead." Dan Hodge, Executive Vice President
Our U.S. team continues to grow, recently welcoming Senior Economist Daniel Seymour and Economist Emily Anderson. We’re excited to see what the next five years will bring.
