Cambridge Econometrics announces Chris Thoung as Chief Economist
Cambridge Econometrics is pleased to announce that Chris Thoung, after five years as Head of Society and 14 years with the company, will be taking on a new role as Chief Economist overseeing our models, tools and services.
As Chief Economist, Chris will build on his extensive experience in economic analysis and modelling, as well as his role as company director to drive forward our evidence-based approach to policy analysis. As well as continuing to lead consultancy projects, Chris will devote time to building the company’s technical capability and approach to economic analysis. This includes collaborating with our modelling experts, the wider academic community and network to further develop our suite of in-house models.
